Salary: MPS - UPS - £31,650 - £49,084 FTE (This will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked)

Working Pattern: This is a part time, permanent position working 0.8 FTE, 39 weeks per year

Bickleigh-on-Exe Primary School is seeking to appoint an excellent early years practitioner to teach our Reception class and support the leadership of our thriving Pre-school. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher seeking a leadership role as part of our Senior Leadership Team.

We have a purpose-built, large Reception and Pre-school unit. It is an open-plan space with excellent facilities indoors and out, and a strong team of teaching and support staff.

Successful applicants must have a proven track record of securing strong progress in EYFS and be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the EYFS curriculum.

Applications and references should demonstrate excellent teamwork, planning, and communication skills. We anticipate this post will commence on 1st September 2025.

The post will be awarded a temporary Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR) at level 3. This TLR is linked to the post and will cease if your post changes from Unit Leader.
